How Do I Utilize The Lock On The Bike?

Please note that only the GREY Bcycles are equipped with a lock. The WHITE Bcycles are not.

1. Stretch out the coiled lock and wrap the cable around a stationary object such as a pole or bike rack.
2. Look underneath the right side (on smaller basket bikes is located on the left side) of the basket and locate the hole on the lock cylinder.
3. Insert the end of the lock cable into the hole and remove the key from the end of the lock cylinder.

NOTE: Some jiggling will most likely be required. Try to jiggle the end that is inserted into the hole while jiggling the key. Eventually, the key will come out, showing that the bike lock is secured.

4. Now that the bike is locked, DO NOT LOSE THE KEY! There is a $10 charge for lost keys. When you are ready to free the bike again, insert and turn the key in the end of the cylinder.
